New Nada Surf: “When I Was Young”
I’m not a huge Nada Surf fan. And not because I don’t think bands who are publicly considered to be “one hit wonders” are not capable of continuing to make great music after their hit. Nor is it because I haven’t heard any post-“Popular” Nada Surf - I have and it is good. But I can’t listen to everything! That being said, I just listened to this new jam “When I Was Young” like four times in a row. And by the second time the hook “I wonder, what was that world I was dreaming of?” came around I could already feel it being stuck in my head and my heart for the next three weeks or so.
